Magic Shows and Lectures
Both close-up and stage
performances are available. Close-up
performances are designed for intimate settings suited for small
groups or parties. Stage shows are
suitable for banquets and conventions and are suitable for
audiences up to 200. The stage or platform shows are wholesome
and guaranteed to entertain with magical effects that are
mystifying. Good humor is injected through the performance. Over 40
years of successful experience come with each performance.

Lectures are primarily for magic clubs and magic conventions. The
Magical Spoonerism Lecture has
been highly received since 1975. The lecture offer a wide variety
of magic effects, include close-up and stage magic. Some effects
are easy to do and some are not so easy. The lecture includes
tips and suggestions. A clear explanation of psychology and
misdirection is offered for appropriate items. The lecture is
presented in an entertaining manner and features the trick that
baffled Dai Vernon at the Magic Castle.
Wands of the Conjurers is a Lecture/demonstration on the history
of gimmicked, mechanical or trick wands. This lecture/
demonstration of vintage wands are supported by vivid PowerPoint
visuals on a large screen. This new lecture was introduced at the
2005 Winter Carnival of Magic and has been booked for the IBM
convention and The New England Magic Collectors Association in
2006. Magicians will be amazed at the rich history and evolution
of the Conjurer’s Wands.
The Lota Bowl – From Ancient to Modern times is a book in
progress on one of the oldest magic effect known. The lecture is
an outgrowth from the research for the book. It includes a
history of the lota and a functional analysis of lota
performances. Effective ways to use the vessel and
characteristics of a good lota are shared. PowerPoint visuals
support the presentation. A photo gallery of famous lota bowls is
a part of the presentation and includes photos of a 500 BC and
Pre-Columbian Lota circa 1290 AD.
